Mechanical Engineering

The diploma in mechanical engineering aims to provide an introduction to the basic subjects and concerns of mechanical engineering. Mechanical Engineering is the discipline which deals with the design, manufacture, operation and maintenance of machines. Mechanical Engineering uses core concepts of physics and material science for design, manufacture and maintenance of different mechanical systems.

The program is designed so that students develop multiple skills in analytical ability, creative thinking, innovative problem solving and engineering acumen. The curriculum will inculcate self-confidence so that the learners can handle and execute real time tasks in mechanical engineering.

The diploma course is aimed at individuals who have an interest in mechanics and want to know about their working principles, applications and related aspects. Eligibility for Polytechnic Course

Candidate should have passed 10th Standard /JEEP  examination

Lateral Entry in Polytechnic : 

Candidate should have passed 12th with Science subjects or with vocational/technical subjects or 10 + 2 years ITI with appropriate specialization.
